Located in the historic Dam Site Recreation Area, Dam Site Marina has long been part of the Elephant Butte Lake experience.

Today, the marina offers boat slips, fuel, kayak and paddleboard rentals, fishing access, and a convenient marina store with the essentials for a day on the water.

It's a favorite spot for those who appreciate the quieter side of the lake, with beautiful surroundings, easy access to outdoor recreation, and nearby lodging that makes it easy to stay a little longer.

kAYAK & PADDLE BOARD RENTALS
Some of the best lake days are the simplest ones. Grab a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and spend a little time exploring the shoreline, enjoying the scenery, and taking in Elephant Butte from a different perspective.

Kayak and Paddle Boards are reserved through Wake Rack. You can pick-up and drop-off rentals at your own convenience from the WakeRack lockers. Your access code to retrieve your paddle board or kayak is provided in an email one hour before your reservation. Each rental includes everything you need in a duffel bag, even the life jacket!
